Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Last Bed mobile application, web portal, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, do not use the Service.

If you represent a hotel or accommodation provider registering a property, you also certify that you have the legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Last Bed is a marketplace platform connecting travelers ("Guests") with independent luxury and boutique hotels ("Hotels") located in Ethiopia (primarily Addis Ababa) offering last-minute unsold inventory at discounted decay rates.

• Platform Role: Last Bed facilitates the discovery, request, and reservation vouchers. The contract for accommodation is directly between the Guest and the Hotel.
• Inventory Availability: Inventory is provided directly by participating hotels. Stays booked after 10:00 AM are for the tonight stay cycle unless an advance booking window applies.

Request & Acceptance Flow

• When you submit a reservation request, the hotel is notified to confirm availability.
• Hotels have a 10-minute window to accept or decline the request.
• Once accepted, the guest has 10 minutes to complete checkout and confirm the voucher.
• If not confirmed within 10 minutes, the hold expires and inventory releases back to the market.

Payment Terms

Unless explicitly arranged otherwise through official in-app payment rails, Last Bed reservations are settled cash on arrival directly at the hotel front desk in Ethiopian Birr (ETB).

The price displayed at voucher confirmation includes the applicable room rate and taxes as declared by the hotel. Any additional hotel amenities, food, or minibar usage are billed separately by the hotel.

• Guests may cancel reservations within the app prior to check-in according to hotel-specific policies.
• Because Last Bed deals represent deeply discounted same-day inventory, repeated cancellations or failure to show up for confirmed reservations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
• Hotels are required to honor confirmed vouchers. In the rare event of unforeseen emergency displacement, hotels must offer comparable or upgraded accommodation or assist with immediate reassignment.

Guest Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate and truthful details, including your contact phone number and Fayda National ID / Passport when requested at check-in.
• You agree to abide by each hotel's house rules, quiet hours, and safety regulations.
• You must not use the service for speculative, false, or fraudulent reservations.

Hotel Partner Responsibilities

• Hotel partners agree to accurately declare room categories, photos, amenities, and pricing.
• Hotel staff must check in guests promptly using the voucher code or QR verification flow.
• Partner accounts are subject to verification and suspension for misleading listings or refusal of valid reservations.

Last Bed provides the platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Ethiopian law, Last Bed disclaims all warranties regarding the condition, safety, or quality of hotel properties.

Last Bed is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, personal injury, or property damage occurring on hotel premises. Disputes regarding stay quality must be addressed directly with hotel management.

You may terminate your account at any time via the self-serve deletion option in your Profile settings or by contacting us at lastbedet@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your account credentials are permanently removed and identifying data is anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
